Angular JS vs Node JS

In 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic has driven everybody indoors, massively increasing the popularity of online shopping. Business owners who don’t have web applications for their businesses risk losing out on huge profits.

Web applications give your customers an alternative to avail of your service or product.

If you choose to invest in application development for your business or thinking of developing it on your own, the first thing you will need is an interactive framework for the application.

Both Angular JS and Node JS frameworks are popularly used to build engaging JavaScript web applications. However, the architecture and working of both are entirely different from the other. Angular JS is mainly used to build single-page-client-side web applications and Node JS is suited for building server-side applications.

Let’s take a look at the key differences between Node JS and Angular JS and their uses.

● Node JS consists of model-view-controller (MVC) architecture which is also called an event-driven architecture. Whereas, Angular JS has a model-view-whatever (MVW) framework and has support for model-view-mode as well.

● Node JS is a cross-platform runtime library and environment for JavaScript web applications. Angular JS is an open-source web application framework.

● If you want to use NodeJS in applications, you will have to fully install it in your system but if you choose Angular JS you just need the AngularJS file to use it in applications.

● Angular JS is completely written in JavaScript, but Node JS uses C, C++, and JavaScript languages.

● If you are looking to develop small-size projects you should use Node JS language. On the other hand, if you need to create highly interactive web pages Angular JS is the language you should go for. However, Angular JS lacks IE 8 support and you shouldn’t use it for hybrid application development.

● In Node JS one can use JavaScript on the server and the client which makes it easier for you to focus on learning one language but for Angular JS you need an in-depth understanding of various aspects of JavaScript such as, scope, and prototyping.

● In situations where you need something instant and measurable, you should use Node JS. For real-time applications like instant messaging you should consider Angular JS.

● In databases like MongoDB, CouchDB, JavaScript is used to write database queries which makes Node JS ideal for generating database queries. This makes it easier as you don’t have to remember the difference between the syntax while combining NoSQL and Node JS databases.

● You should use Angular JS to solve complex tasks in a short period, as Angular JS has a high processing speed.

● Node JS gives you amazing features such as Directives, Filters, and Automatic Data Binding so you don’t have to repeatedly write codes.

Conclusion:

Depending on the project you’re working on or your preference both Angular JS and Node JS deliver equally strong web applications. Both frameworks are advanced, high-performing, and popular among developers throughout the world.
